REISHI CAT NEEDS A HOME

I found this cat in the state forest last summer, starving and desperate. She is much more plump and well-adjusted than when she first came home with me, but she is remains a cat who does NOT want to be petted. And that makes her an unusual choice for a pet. (and a poor choice for a bookstore cat) But I know there are unusual and big-hearted people out there who might be able to host an old cat in their house without needing much in return. She is a cat who likes to watch, but doesn’t want to play. I think she could be a good friend to someone.

• not into petting/physical contact

• has been to vet: has shots, F-HIV negative

• seems on the older side (not rambunctious or needy)

• likes to hang around but not participate

• does not get along with other cats

• uses litterbox 100% — no messes
